Travel Behavior Analysis and Demand Modeling, Discrete Choice Analysis, Dynamic Transportation Network Modeling, Activity Based Modeling, Urban Transportation Systems, Mobile Sensing, Network Optimization, Statistics and Operations Research applied to Transportation.

April 2011 - Present; working with Professor Dr. Md. Shamsul Hoque on

Development of Dynamic Origin Destination Matrix based Travel Demand Modeling Framework using Cell Phone Data

M.Sc. Thesis. Utilized anonymized cell phone data, filtered noise, assimilated data, conducted complimentary traffic and questionnaire surveys, formulating framework for TDM using developed dynamic OD matrices.

 

January 2011 - Present; working with Dr. Charisma F. Choudhury on

Development of a Microscopic Traffic Simulator with Mixed Traffic Simulation Capability for Evaluation of Alternative Transport Options for Dhaka City

A World Bank financed research project. Working as a researcher.

 

July 2008 - October 2009;worked with Professor Dr. Mizanur Rahman on

Development of Interrupted Flow Traffic Noise Prediction Model (IFTNPM) for Dhaka City

Undergraduate Thesis. Applied statistical modeling, mapped GIS based pollution information, managed large-scale primary data collection.
